Dynamics of Earth's Core Reveal Hurricanes Under Your Feet...11/10/99

You've got to hand it to nature: Once it finds something that works, it sticks with it. Take vortices for example: from the nearly incomprehensible rotation of galaxies to the familiar swirl of a hurricane right down to plodding rotational characteristics of the Earth's molten core, spinning works. The nice thing about vortices in the atmosphere - tornadoes, hurricanes and cyclones - is that you can see them. Complicated and violent as these phenomena are, being able to see them makes it relatively easy to study them -- compared, that is, with the vortices beneath your feet. This could explain why researchers have only recently confirmed their existence. In recent years scientists used computer models to predict that there would be cyclonic systems in the fluid portion of Earth's core.

Now researchers at Johns Hopkins University say they've proved this theory. In a paper appearing in Thursday's issue of the journal Nature, researchers say they have confirmed the presence of a vortex in the Northern Hemisphere. The scientists studied the earth's magnetic field, going as far back as 1870, to draw their conclusion. What's going on down there? Earth's inner core is mostly solid iron, surrounded by a more fluid, molten iron outer core. The two regions rotate at different speeds and not always in the same direction. This interaction creates what scientists call a "hydromagnetic dynamo," something like an electric motor that results in the magnetic field that surrounds our planet. Researchers have known that convection -- the upward motion of heated material -- is at the root of much of this activity.

With a hurricane, warm, rising air of a low-pressure system drives the storm. In the Northern Hemisphere, the movement of air into a hurricane is deflected, by the Earth's rotation, into a counterclockwise (cyclonic) motion. The opposite rotation occurs in the Southern Hemisphere. Peter Olson, lead researcher on the new study, explained that the rotation of Earth's outer core is in the opposite direction compared to the inner core, generating conditions much like those that create atmospheric vortices like hurricanes: Near the surface, a hurricane rotates in a counterclockwise (cyclonic) fashion, but as air is pushed by convection to higher altitudes, the motion becomes clockwise (anticyclonic). Olson says the same anticyclonic circulation is seen near the top of the outer core. He therefore expects that deeper in the core, circulation ought to change direction and become cyclonic.

The study should help researchers better understand the dynamics of inner Earth, which is the origin for the magnetic field that guides compasses and protects our planet from harmful cosmic radiation. "The magnetic field is carried by the vortex, and in addition, we suppose that the field is (partly) generated by the vortex deeper within the core," Olson said.

The Sun And Magnetic Fields...05/31/99

(NASA) Now, say three scientists at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, it appears that the energy source is a continuous rumble of microflares, feeding magnetic energy into the corona, heating it to 1 to 2 million Kelvin (1.8-3.6 million deg. F).

Moore and solar physicists Dr. Jason Porter of NASA/Marshall and Dr.David Falconer of the University of Alabama in Huntsville, will present their findings today at the American Astronomical Society's Centennial conference in Chicago. They will report on research conducted with the Solar Vector Magnetograph (SVMG), a NASA/Marshall telescope that reveals the strength and direction of magnetic fields in the solar atmosphere, an X-ray telescope aboard Japan's Yohkoh satellite, and an ultraviolet solar telescope on Europe's Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO).

Because the sun is a plasma (gases stripped of electrons) all the way to its core, it doesn't really have a surface. What we call the visible surface is where the plasma becomes thin enough to be transparent. This reveals structures like sunspots, slightly cooler regions formed by magnetic activity, and the feet of flares, transient arches of gas looping from the surface into space and back down to the surface. These arches are so hot that they glow in X-rays.

Porter took images from Yohkoh's Soft X-ray Telescope and overlaid images from the SVMG which shows the strength and direction of magnetic fields in the solar surface.

Porter was looking at islands of included polarity, intense north or south magnetic islands around which large, bright, persistent coronal loops are rooted. Encircling these islands are neutral lines, narrow alleys where the magnetic field switches from one polarity to another. Along these lines, the SVMG showed these magnetic fields to be under a type of stress called shear.

A new study by Porter, Falconer, and Moore of magnetic islands and extended loops, observed in somewhat cooler radiation (about 1 million K) by SOHO's Extreme Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope (EIT) revealed extreme ultraviolet microflares that do correlate well with brightening in the extended loops. This indicates that the cooler microflares do drive the heating in the extended loops.

This is an "esoterical" view point

In 1400 B.C. there was a major shifting of the axis. This was recorded in Egypt, Summeria, Babylonia and all over Mesopotamia and in the Bible. The sun stood still for 20 hours. (The Bible says, "for about a day.") And on the other side of the earth the ancient Olmec teachings there say the sun did not rise for one day because it was night time there. THOTH [One of Drunvalo's guides] says it was caused not by the normal shifting caused by the precession of the Equinoxes, but was caused by Nibiru of the Nephfilim which comes by every 3600 years. It goes between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter and comes very, very close to us. THOTH says that was the time when a big change occurred.

This is all so fantastic, if it is too much for you to accept, don't. Just let it go. But I got to tell you the way I was told and the way I see it. Go way back in time when they were setting up the Christ Consciousness Grid. The hole in Egypt to set the grid. It was calculated that by the winter of 1998 we would go through the shift and at that time a few people would make it through. And this is nothing unusual. This has been tried before on other planets. When a planet is out of phase or something, they may jump them up or they may jump them down. Depending on what level they are on at the time. Or they may start them all over again. That's what happened to the Hebrews. OR step them ahead, whatever is necessary. This aspect of the experiment, and you can say it is an experiment, did not attract any attention at all. However, about 200 years ago the Sirians the Father aspect of this race became aware there was a very high possibility we were not going to make it. They knew there was an event that was going to happen August 7, 1972 and if we were not in a certain state of consciousness we were not going to make it. And if we didn't , that's it.

There wouldn't even be a bug left on the planet. But the Sirians didn't want to see that happen, because as our parents they had compassion for us. So they started looking for an answer to this particular situation to solve the problem. And there weren't any. There was no cure. There was nothing known. There was nothing they could do to get a planet of our level of awareness through to the other side of this problem. In tact. So what happened in the past meant the planet was just gone. But the Sirians kept looking through time and space for a solution. Eventually they found somebody somewhere not in this galaxy conceived an idea that might work but it had never, never been tried before. And even then they didn't know if it would work because humans have free will and can take any turn any time and go in any direction. So they assumed it would work. The Sirians then created a vehicle 50 miles long, cigar shaped, colored black. It had silicon-carbon (computer-human) based life forms blended together so the whole thing was a self-aware living unit. The crew of 350 men and women from the white Sirian race from the third planet out of Sirius B. They wore white uniforms with gold emblems. And they dedicated as much time to this project as was necessary. They also made 8 little flying saucer shaped vehicles which were robotic, unmanned, 12-20 feet across. They got all this stuff together and worked out all the possibilities and just set it aside. And waited.

What was happening on the earth level at that time is, I was lead to go to Canada to meet a man named David Suzuki. It was a whole secret connection then that was made. He is a very disciplined man in many different fields. David won the Nobel Prize in Genetics. Not by looking through a microscope but by looking out into the stars. He believed "as above, so below." He watched asteroids as they broke off and moved around the solar system. So he hired some people to watch the movements of the asteroids. Anyway, one of the things he had going was he had a team of people watching the sun all the time. They in 1950 they noticed a phenomena never recorded before in human history. Spiraling light and went past the earth very rapidly. At the earth's axis there is the precession of the equinoxes which takes place every 24,000 years. But there is the Chandler wobble every 14 months and is 72 feet. There is one very 14 years. During one of these wobbles the earth began to deviate from its path around the central sun.

[Alcyeon in the Western astrology and Revati in Hindu astrology.] At this time we were at about the furtherest point away from the central sun. The area of the wobble began to open. Which is the equivalent of a top slowing down. It took them another 14 years of study before they were certain this wobble would lead to a new north and south pole. And David Suzuki was not into Edgar Cayce or any of that. He was a scientist. An interesting note though, Cayce predicted this wobble would go 16 degrees into Russia, and with their computers calculating everything they knew, there was a spot about 15.75 degrees. Near a spot where Cayce said it would be. The difference was so small it was amazing. And so by 1964 they were pretty certain of this. They took 4 more years to watch and study to make sure this even was going to happen. He wrote a paper and sent it out to all the major governments in the world that we were going to have a new north and south pole.

NASA To Study Earth's Magnetic Field...02/16/99

A unique camera that will take some of the first pictures of Earth's invisible magnetic shield is being prepared for flight on Feb. 15, 2000. The mission, called IMAGE, will explore a region of space where the aurora is energized.

"It's exciting to be in a position where you know you're going to stumble onto things you didn't suspect were there," said Dr. Dennis Gallagher at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center.

That's because in the 41 years that scientists have been studying the magnetosphere - the immense cloud of ionized gas formed by Earth's magnetic field - scientists have never gotten a picture of it. Somewhat like being in a massive fog, they have taken countless measurements throughout the magnetosphere, and taken pictures of its effects on the upper atmosphere. But the overall shape of the magnetosphere can only be inferred from those data.

Stepping back for a better view

Dr. Gallagher is a co-investigator for the Imager for Magnetopause-to-Aurora Global Exploration (IMAGE) satellite scheduled for launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., on Feb.15, 2000. IMAGE will be the first satellite that will let scientists step back and take pictures of the magnetosphere as it changes shape.

The Earth's magnetic field acts as a buffer between the terrestrial environment and the solar wind. The two best known effects of the magnetosphere are the aurora borealis and the Van Allen radiation belts.

The aurora is caused by electrons and ions zinging back and forth along the magnetic field lines and reversing course when they hit a "mirror" point. When energized by a solar storm, these particles can punch through the mirror points and hit the outer atmosphere, causing the aurora's enchanting glow. The Van Allen belts, named for discoverer James Van Allen, can disrupt the electronics of satellites.

NASA And Earth's Magnetosphere...01/21/99

A NASA sounding rocket designed to study a region of Earth's atmosphere that is directly exposed to the solar wind blasted off yesterday from the Andoya rocket range in Norway. The the Cleft Accelerated Plasma Experimental Rocket (CAPER) soared to an altitude of 1360 km, 20 km higher than expected. During its 20 minute flight the rocket flew over several auroral arcs, and passed through regions containing intense electric fields and highly accelerated ions. CAPER probably landed in the polar ice somewhere near the Longyearbyen tracking station in Norway. "

The success of the CAPER mission could significantly advance our understanding of Earth's magnetosphere and of space weather," says Dr. Mark Adrian, a plasma physicist at the University of Alabama, Huntsville who helped build two of CAPER's instruments. "Yesterday, the sounding rocket flew through the so-called 'Cleft Ion Fountain' which is a major contributor to charged particles in the magnetosphere. There's a debate going on now among plasma physicists about the source of energy that drives the fountain's particle flow. No one is quite certain where the free energy comes from, but there are some good ideas. The data from CAPER should clearly distinguish between competing models and help us understand how the ion fountain really works."

CAPER was funded by NASA and launched in collaboration with the Norwegian Space Agency, Andoya Rocket Range, UNIS. The GSFC/Wallop Flight Facility project manager was Dave Moltedo.

Magnetic Event Update...01/15/99

The unexpected magnetic event that began yesterday continues today. The planetary magnetism readings peaked at "6" last night and were high enough and sustained enough to generate a Magnetic-A Index of greater than 20 for yesterday... indicating the event was indeed a magnetic storm and would normally have been preceded by a magnetic storm watch.

During the night the Kp readings fell sharply back down to "2" but today have risen back into the yellow and red [4-5] again for the past nine consecutive hours. The extreme fluctuations in the magnetometer and electron readings seem to be calming down today and the Kp should begin to go back down soon.

Solar activity has already increased to moderate levels today with a moderate duration M3 flare event this morning and numerous C-Class events. This no doubt originated from one of the two new and quite vigorous regions on the approaching side of the solar disk and probably indicates that more major flares are likely.

The volatility of the planetary magnetism readings for the last 24 hours IMO will lead to an increased potential for strong seismic and volcanic activity, and enhanced weather dynamics for the next 18-24 hours [after the Kp calms back down.

Powerful magnet star seen in space...9/28/98

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Astronomers said Friday they had found evidence of what they called the most powerful magnetic field ever seen in the universe. They said they had seen the afterglow from a magnetar, a neutron star that has a magnetic field billions of times stronger than the Earth's. This one, they said, was 100 times stronger than any magnetic field ever seen in the universe. The object, in Earth's own Milky Way galaxy, is about 15,000 light-years away. "This emission comes from particles ejected at nearly the speed of light from the surface of the neutron star interacting with the extremely powerful magnetic field," said Shri Kulkarni of the California Institute of Technology.

Well here it is. The following story supports my theory of the connection between the Sun, the Magnetic Shift, and Weather. If this is true, it is solar activity that is the cause of the weather phenomena we are currently experiencing and will to continue to experience in escalated measures in current times to come.

Solar eruption causes geomagnetic storm on Earth...8/27/98

Solar winds blowing at more than a million miles per hour hit the Earth's magnetic field Wednesday, sparking what scientists say could be a significant geomagnetic storm. The U.S. Geological Survey said charged particles from a solar eruption hit the Earth's magnetic field around 3 a.m. EDT and the resulting fluctuations in the field could cause power outages, satellite failures, disruption in communications and the aurora borealis. Auroras are usually seen only in northern latitudes, but may become visible in the continental U.S. during this geomagnetic storm, the agency said. A severe magnetic storm in March 1989 caused the collapse of the Hydro-Quebec power system in Canada, leaving about 6 million people without power. (Reuters)

Scientists solve astronomy mystery-it's the magnetic fields...6/11/98

Astronomers and mathematicians have solved a mystery that has perplexed scientists for half a century - why the atmosphere of the sun is so much hotter than its surface. They have known that the sun's surface is barely 6,000 degrees Centigrade but theycould not explain why its outer atmosphere called the corona, where temperatures climb to several million degrees, is so much hotter. In a letter to the scientific journal Nature Wednesday, researchers said a clash of magnetic fields was heating giant, super-hot loops that extend over the sun's surface to produce the extreme temperatures. Could it be that our government is aware of the current magnetic shift and its affects on human and animal behavior. Please read below; NASA's statement of this latest shuttle mission and its studies.

Some believe the effects of the magnetic shift which includes the magnetic fields decrease, as well the earth's vibratory increase, could have similar effects as that of being in a less gravitational force.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (Reuters) - The space shuttle Columbia blasted off Friday (4/17/98), with a crew of seven and a menagerie of creatures aboard, on a mission to probe the inner workings of the human brain and nervous system. The shuttle crew and more than 2,000 creatures, including rats, mice, swordtail fish, crickets and snails, were to serve as test subjects for a $99 million research program to understand the effects of space travel on the nervous system.
 
Some of the rats will be decapitated in orbit and dissected to remove their balance organs. The mission, called Neurolab, was conceived after President George Bush declared the 1990s the "Decade of the Brain.''  The astronauts will perform 26 neurological experiments in the shuttle's laboratory module.
 
NASA says Columbia's flight may provide an insight into earthbound ailments such as insomnia, blood pressure trouble, balance problems and motion sickness.

             Is it possible the following report is related to the "Magnetic Shift". As a mental health therapist, I am very much interested in Gregg Braden, as well as others who study how the magnetic shift may in fact affect human behavior. I am currently researching the very real possibility that the magnetic shift is not only causing birds to migrate to unusually locations; but also causing whales, dolphins, and sea lions to beach themselves after becoming disoriented. Science has confirmed there is a part of the brain in animals that acts as a beacon giving direction. Some believe it may have to do with the pineal gland in humans. There is some evidence suggesting it is affected by magnetics which also affects mood and behavior.

  Anti-depressant sales jump...4/14/98

The British swallowed $435 million worth of anti-depressant tablets in the 12 months to the end of January, a jump of 23% from a year earlier, market researchers IMS Global Services said Tuesday. The British overtook the French, who took $424 million of pills, up 12% in local currency terms. The rise in UK consumption of drugs such as Eli Lilly and Co.'s Prozac and SmithKline Beecham Plc's Paxil/Seroxat was well ahead of the overall growth rate in the world's leading markets of 14% to $7 billion. IMS said sales of the drugs in the U.S. jumped 21%, while in Europe overall growth was 14%. (Reuters)

This is the very thing I have been researching. I have once again turned my attention to the HAARP project in Alaska. In part, the HAARP project is designed to affect behavior via a certain pitch of resonance. This resonance, is directly related to the current and ongoing "Magnetic Shift" that is now occurring. I believe the magnetic shift is the cause of "El Nino". I also believe this magnetic shift is what is beaching our whales, dolphins, and sea lions. I'm saying, the change in pitch frequency is the driving force of what affects brain activity related to direction and mood.
